 Terms & Conditions of Business

 

The following terms are the base of all contracts between RJS Catering and the customer for the services and goods supplied by RJS Catering. 

 

 A non returnable deposit of 10% is payable to secure your booking.

 

No further deposits are required after the booking deposit. We will invoice you two weeks prior to your function with the final balance which must be cleared prior to the function date. Payable by cash or cheque.  

 

Late payment will result in the function being cancelled and the booking deposit being forfeited.

 

All dates remain open and book-able until such time as a deposit payment has been received.

 

Late bookings taken 14 days or less prior to your planned event are payable in full at the time of the booking.

 

From time to time it may be necessary due to seasonal or supplier circumstances beyond our control to vary the menu. Substitutes will be of equal value and we will ensure the customer is informed of any changes prior to your event.

 

RJS Catering does not accept any liability for non-completion or delays of your event.

 

RJS Catering accepts no responsibility for non-completion in the unlikely event of adverse weather conditions, traffic accident or road closure, civil riots or strikes, fire, flood or any other act of god or natural disaster, or any other event which is beyond the reasonable control of RJS Catering.

 

All food produced and supplied by RJS Catering is subject to a 4 hour display time from time of delivery. After 4 hours RJS Catering relinquish all responsibility for food on display for consumption and it then becomes the responsibility of the customer.

 

After 4 hours RJS Catering recommends disposal of all food products supplied by RJS Catering.

 

RJS Catering accepts no responsibility for food taken away from the buffet for consumption at a later date.  

 

ALL PRICES QUOTED ARE EXCULSIVE OF VAT WHICH WILL BE CHARGED AT THE CURRENT RATE OF 20%.
